Elyse Petrak

Elyse has been tap dancing for as long as she can remember! She danced competitively from the ages of 7 to 21 and spent three years with the pre-professional company Language of Rhythm.

During her time with the company, Elyse expanded her knowledge and appreciation of tap history and jazz music while gaining valuable experience in improvisation and choreography. She also had the opportunity to collaborate with fellow dancers and musicians to create pieces that were performed in various shows.

Throughout the years, Elyse has been fortunate to learn from teachers who have passed down their passion, skills, and knowledge of tap. She is excited to share what she has learned with her own students and help them develop the same appreciation and love for the art form.
