Laura Cartlidge

Laura started her dance training at the age of 4 in tap, ballet, and jazz. As Laura got older, she became a competitive artistic gymnast, competing for 8 years and got picked to compete for Team Manitoba in the western Canadian gymnastics championships. When Laura was 15, she wanted to continue her love for dance but also wanted to continue her passion for tumbling, so she became a competitive Acro, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and ballet dancer. By adulthood, Laura started teaching jazz, lyrical, and competitive Acro for all ages. She is NCCP level 2 certified as an artistic gymnastics coach and is also an acrobatic arts certified dance instructor. Laura has a strong passion for helping students gain confidence in their Acro abilities and help them achieve skills they wish to learn. She specializes in stretch & strength, flexibility, limbering, balancing, partnering, and power tumbling. Laura is so excited to be a part of the L.A. dance family!
